The company.

W-Ibeda was founded in Shanghai in 1998 and has specialised in various testing services for the automotive sector. W-Ibeda has been offering tests for electric drives in China since 2016. In 2022, the company founded W-Ibeda Technology GmbH in Germany to make its modern testing methods available to European manufacturers.

W-Ibeda now operates more than 200 test benches at eight different test centres worldwide, employing around 600 people. W-Ibeda has already carried out test runs for over 150 different companies on 250 different types of test specimens.

The German site in Bergkirchen near Munich will start operations in 2024 with currently 14 test benches for electric drives. Further expansion will follow.
